APAC Operations Support Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Primarily accountable for delivering operational support related to the region's O&M contracts, ensuring excellence throughout the Mobilization, Execution, and Demobilization phases of these contracts.

• Enhance the operations and reliability of the O&M plants within the region.

• Maintain the Operations Programs, encompassing processes and tools that guarantee optimal plant performance in a safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally responsible manner.

• Collaborate and coordinate with Plant Managers and Operation Managers across the region.

• Support the tracked KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the Operations Program at the power stations in the region.

• Aid the Power Plants in the region with the integration of new tools and technologies into the Operations Program to boost productivity and operational performance at the power stations.

• Assist in developing digital solutions, outlining and leading validation plans, and overseeing pilot implementations in close partnership with digital teams.

• Coordinate with other GEV Power components (Engineering teams, Digital, Commercial, and O&M plants) to ensure optimal solutions for enhanced performance at the Power Stations.

• Support the Mobilization Programs for new contracts in the region, including processes and tools that guarantee efficient O&M contract mobilizations to achieve operational readiness at COD.

• Offer support, advice, and guidance to Plant Managers and other individuals responsible for mobilization, including Regional O&M Service Directors on mobilization projects.

• Assist regional sites in achieving the Lean Strategy for the O&M business.

• Support regional business growth as requested by the Region O&M Support Leader.

• Carry out additional duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or product management, including technical, financial, and contractual aspects.

• At least 3 years of experience in Power Plant Operation and Maintenance.

• Familiarity with GE Mark V, VI, VIe control systems for troubleshooting plant operational processes is a plus.

• Proficiency in English and the local (regional) language.
