A/P Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Receive, evaluate, and categorize accounts payable transactions

• Assess data for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and secure necessary approvals

• Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities

• Process a significant volume of invoices and expense reports

• Prepare bank deposits in compliance with standard accounts payable procedures

• Maintain monthly productivity levels in line with departmental objectives

• Collaborate with internal teams and field divisions to address issues

• Research and reconcile vendor accounts along with banking transactions

• Assist with purchase order systems and align purchase orders with receiving and invoicing documents

• Support Positive Pay, ACH, and credit card banking exceptions

• Handle Stop Payments, Voids, Escheats, check requests, and one-time vendor payments

• Investigate payment gaps and gather missing invoices through monthly reporting analysis

• Process check, ACH, and credit card payments

• Respond to inquiries and provide training and support on accounts payable processes

• Engage in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and suggest more efficient procedures

• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned or deemed necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of accounts payable or relevant experience

• A minimum of 1 year of high-volume data entry experience

• Experience in multi-company accounts payable processing

• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work accurately with numerical data

• Capability to research and reconcile accounts while collaborating with vendors to resolve issues

• High School diploma or G.E.D.

• Candidates must be residents of Arizona at the time of hire
