AP Credit Card Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Review and process company credit card transactions in the accounts payable system.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

• Verify, classify, compute, post, and record data related to credit card accounts payable.

• Assess credit card accounts for duplicate services and identify opportunities to consolidate charges and minimize costs.

• Submit credit card payments for approval from the Controller and CFO prior to the due date.

• Generate payments to American Express once approval is obtained.

• Reconcile the credit card accounts payable ledger.

• Confirm that all payables are accounted for and accurately posted.

• Reconcile the subledger with General Ledger accounts at the end of each month.

• Review approved expense reimbursements bi-monthly to ensure policy compliance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Travel infrequently as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.

• Knowledge of general ledger principles.

• Familiarity with chart of accounts.

• Experience using Bill.com.

• Preferred experience with Sage Intacct.

• Proficiency with any accounting software is acceptable.

• ConnectWise experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience utilizing AI to enhance Accounts Payable processes is advantageous.

• Ability to work Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm CST.

• Capacity to establish a dedicated, safe, secure, and distraction-free workspace.

• Ability to comply with Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies.

• Adequate arrangements to prevent significant caregiving interruptions during working hours.

• Must have U.S. person status; visa sponsorship for employment is not available.

• Capability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods.
