Android Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement new features for a large-scale consumer Android application.

• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code using Kotlin.

• Collaborate with designers to create smooth, accessible, and visually appealing user experiences.

• Monitor and enhance app performance, stability, and crash rates.

• Work in partnership with back-end engineers on APIs and data flows that support mobile functionalities.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Android development.

• Excellent proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.

• Experience with contemporary Android architecture patterns and Jetpack libraries.

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining applications in production on the Google Play Store.

• Knowledge of automated testing techniques for mobile applications.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• W-2 employment only; no C2C or 1099 arrangements.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.

• Preferred: Experience with large, modular codebases and multi-team development environments.

• Preferred: Background in consumer, marketplace, or travel applications.
