Anaplan Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Reports to the Senior Manager – Emerging Applications Portfolio.

• The Anaplan Solution Architect is tasked with defining and implementing the strategic architecture and model design for Aztec’s Anaplan platform.

• You will oversee the design and governance of intricate fund-modelling solutions, including waterfalls, carried interest, and portfolio forecasting models.

• This position is crucial for maintaining data integrity, scalability, and standardisation within Aztec’s modelling environment.

• Lead the development of multi-jurisdictional Anaplan models, ensuring optimal performance, reusability, and adherence to governance standards.

• Establish modelling standards, calculation frameworks, and design conventions.

• Take ownership of the Anaplan ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) process throughout development, testing, and production phases.

• Convert business logic into efficient model architecture that aligns with the Waterfall CoE.

• Design integrations between Anaplan, eFront, Databricks, and Workiva, ensuring a consistent data lineage.

• Define data schemas, mapping frameworks, and reconciliation processes.

• Work collaboratively with the Data Platform and Integration teams to enhance pipelines and ensure auditability.

• Mentor model builders and support specialists, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

• Serve as the main platform liaison between business sponsors and technology delivery teams.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with roadmaps and compliance with SLAs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in designing and managing Anaplan or similar modelling solutions.

• Profound understanding of private-markets fund structures and carried-interest logic.

• Expertise in model optimisation, performance tuning, and governance practices.

• Strong skills in collaboration, leadership, and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

• More than 6 years of experience in technology or modelling roles within financial services or fund administration.

• Master Anaplanner or Solution Architect certification is desirable.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, MuleSoft, or other integration tools.

• Familiarity with downstream reporting platforms such as Workiva or Power BI.
