This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for major Strategic Account chains.
• Formulate and implement insight-driven strategies across the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic discussions with senior sales executives, sales leaders, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Create and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable suggestions.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, manage, and enhance reporting and analytics systems.
• Assess and quantify the impact of key initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and implement growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work closely with the Sales team and the Business Intelligence team, including travel as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Build consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, BI, and Marketing to create integrated insight-driven solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, communicate implications and suggested actions, and prioritize impactful work.
• Act as a trusted thought partner and cultivate innovative ideas to stimulate business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance ways of working, and boost team effectiveness.
• Develop skills and share best practices to elevate overall team performance.
• Provide adaptable support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.
• BA/BS degree is essential.
• 5-10 years of pertinent business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in beverage alcohol is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving abilities.
