This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Establish a disciplined and outstanding analytical team while implementing a comprehensive data and analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain a high-performing team of analytics experts.
• Develop forecasts, perform business analyses, and create and operationalize models.
• Generate actionable insights for product, operations, marketing, and engineering departments.
• Collaborate with growth, product, and engineering managers to gather the appropriate data and ensure rigor in product development.
• Create and oversee annual forecasts and budgets for various products.
• Define product growth strategies and lead execution across acquisition, conversion, activation, monetization, retention, and expansion efforts.
• Take ownership of and optimize business metrics and commercial objectives throughout the entire funnel.
• Conduct product funnel analysis and implement modifications to enhance conversion rates.
• Design and manage A/B testing initiatives.
• Lead the optimization and testing of the conversion funnel across both offline and online channels.
• Enhance product design and carry out experiments to boost lifetime value and reduce churn rates.
• Analyze user behavior and evaluate campaign performance.
• Define and monitor growth metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), activation rate, retention rate, payback time, and revenue per customer.
• Execute cohort analyses and journey mapping to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
• Over 5 years of experience in Analytics and Analytics Management.
• More than 2 years in a management role, overseeing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Proven success in a consumer-FMCG environment, preferably within the CPG or fintech sectors.
• Extensive experience in scaling product businesses, with a demonstrated record of achieving significant revenue targets.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on driving metrics and benchmarks, along with experience in growth experiments, A/B testing, and funnel optimization.
• Advanced SQL knowledge.
• Proficient in product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Grafana, Tableau, Looker, and others.
• In-depth understanding of data analytics, user behavior analysis, and segmentation.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with teams, stakeholders, and users through verbal presentations, written reports, and visual media.
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing product teams.
• Expertise in data analytics tools and digital marketing platforms, with the capacity to manage and mentor teams of marketers, analysts, and designers.
