Analytics Engineer III – FMX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, along with associated products and operations.

• Create and establish insightful metric definitions, KPIs, and source of truth tables using advanced SQL.

• Take ownership of our DBT cloud infrastructure and implement best practices in data modeling.

• Collaborate with fellow Analysts and Data Engineering teams to devise solutions for business challenges.

• Enhance our Snowflake Intelligence AI to empower teams to conduct self-service analytics.

• Stay updated on technology and trends in data analytics, as well as the sports betting and gaming industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced SQL, including model and query optimization.

• Experienced in data modeling with a tool like DBT, incorporating incremental modeling strategies.

• Manage and enhance source code control in GitHub, utilizing branching strategies and best practices to ensure effective collaboration and code quality.

• Skilled in creating dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, Looker).

• Customer-focused and experience-oriented; results-driven and data-centric; experienced in high-growth settings.

• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders, gaining trust and prioritizing relationship management.

• Employ a logical and analytical mindset for problem-solving, with a preference for utilizing AI in analytics.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Positive, adaptable attitude with a willingness to embrace new initiatives.

• Understanding of sports betting or experience in customer behavior analysis is a notable advantage.

• Must be willing to travel for team offsites and events.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
