Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, update, and manage data sources utilized for reporting, analysis, and modeling.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data sources.

• Generate and maintain metadata and technical documentation for data sources, pipelines, ETL processes, and associated data assets.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and data analysts to collect business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Work alongside IT engineers to enhance data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Identify opportunities to enhance, automate, and standardize data and analytics workflows.

• Advocate for best practices regarding data hygiene, resource management, and security.

• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.

• Assist in achieving business objectives through additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications.

• In-depth knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and relevant industry terminology.

• Proficiency in standard office software and technology.

• Familiarity with key data tools and deployment methodologies.

• Understanding of and compliance with OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and security protocols.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment while ensuring precision.

• Competence in defining methods and procedures for new assignments and assessing advanced techniques.

• Skill in providing innovative and effective solutions to complex data and business challenges.
