Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold scalable dbt data models in Snowflake as reliable sources of truth.

• Architect data pipelines and transformation workflows utilizing Fivetran and contemporary ELT practices.

• Create robust, extensible data assets that adapt to the company's growth.

• Establish modeling standards, documentation protocols, and governance frameworks.

• Collaborate with RevOps and Finance to define and implement SaaS metrics such as ARR, retention, expansion, and pipeline.

• Develop data foundations for internal AI applications and LLM-enabled workflows.

• Prototype and bring to production AI-driven operational use cases.

• Integrate analytics and AI into workflows using Notion, Cursor, Glean, and other emerging platforms.

• Embed data directly into operational processes.

• Collaborate with leaders from Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering to translate business requirements into scalable technical systems.

• Create reusable data assets that enable activation through Hightouch and analysis via Omni.

• Ensure that the architecture is scalable, secure, and capable of adapting to changing enterprise needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar hands-on roles.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern data modeling, including dimensional modeling, transformations, and data contracts.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Comfortable navigating a rapidly changing AI tooling landscape.

• Systems-level thinking focused on scalability, extensibility, and flexibility.

• Strong communication abilities and capacity to collaborate across business and technical teams.

• Familiarity with Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Hightouch, Omni, Notion, Cursor, or Glean is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Ability to comprehend and adhere to Ontic Security and Privacy policies.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
