Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various Data teams and Data Engineering to envision, design, and implement Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions for the data/metrics platform.

• Act as the primary resource for data development related to internal analytics.

• Engage with Product and Data Science teams to provide assistance and guidance in the creation of data products.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance data pipelines and automate code generation.

• Create AI-ready datasets that support machine learning and GenAI initiatives.

• Develop data warehousing systems alongside reporting and analytics.

• Comprehend business requirements that can be addressed through data solutions.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and requirements.

• Design and manage data models and datasets.

• Create and maintain data integrations for client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Analytics or Data Engineer.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English; a resume must be provided in English.

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Cursor and Claude Code.

• Experience in building OLAP systems and maintaining dimensional models.

• Backend data engineering experience with SQL and/or Python.

• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, primarily using Pandas.

• Demonstrated experience with data warehouses and related tools.

• Practical experience with relational databases and advanced SQL queries.

• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL tools.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and requirements.

• Experience working collaboratively with analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data management, data privacy, and governance.

• Self-motivated, innovative, results-driven, and team-oriented.

• Possess a growth mindset, curiosity, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Proven expertise as a Data Analyst with large, complex datasets and the ability to translate advanced analyses into actionable business insights is a plus.
