This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Design, develop, and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing SQL/Apache Spark (AWS Glue) and Airflow.
• Model and enhance data in Amazon Redshift and execute queries on large datasets using Amazon Athena.
• Craft advanced SQL to convert raw data into clean, joinable, and analysis-ready tables.
• Construct and manage Tableau dashboards and data sources, ensuring precision, performance, and usability for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, product, BI) to transform business inquiries into robust data models.
• Maintain data quality by instituting checks/monitoring and documenting the data warehouse.
• Enhance pipeline reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness on AWS, including the evaluation and integration of dbt for transformations.
• Proficient in advanced SQL — including query optimization, window functions, complex joins, and performance tuning on large datasets.
• Practical experience with the AWS data ecosystem — Redshift/Athena (knowledge of Spark/Glue is a plus).
• Python scripting skills for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating pipelines.
• Background in building and maintaining dashboards/data sources in Tableau.
• Proven ability to convey data logic and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts — including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Familiar with the concept of Data Lakehouse and open table formats (Apache Iceberg).
• Experience utilizing dbt for transformation and modeling.
• Familiarity with marketing/attribution data (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, AppsFlyer) or mobile app analytics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
