Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance data pipelines and workflows.

• Cleanse, transform, and verify extensive datasets from various sources.

• Assist in the modernization of data architecture and platform functionalities.

• Oversee and manage data assets in cloud-based environments.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Detect data gaps and implement solutions that enhance reliability and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar positions.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Practical experience with data transformation, cleansing, and validation.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

• Experience with AWS, especially S3.

• Experience working with large datasets.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify data quality challenges.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience in pipeline management.

• Valid legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based at the time of hire.

• Preferred: Experience with Snowflake.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Apache Airflow.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks.

• Preferred: Exposure to machine learning environments.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting data architecture modernization or migration projects.

• Preferred: Previous experience in Analytics Engineering.
