This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create, develop, and sustain scalable data models that act as the definitive source for the Consumer Product team.
β’ Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Product Engineering, and Data Scientists/Data Engineers to grasp data requirements and convert intricate business needs into technical data solutions.
β’ Convert complex quantitative analyses into impactful dashboards and bespoke data tools (e.g., Plotly Dash) that inform business decisions.
β’ Provide scalable data solutions by integrating advanced SQL and Python skills with data engineering workflows, ensuring dependability through engineering best practices such as CI/CD, testing, version control, and monitoring.
β’ Bring proactive, data-driven insights that challenge existing assumptions, reveal growth opportunities, and influence the strategic direction of Netflix Consumer Products.
β’ Oversee significant, long-term infrastructure initiatives while maintaining the flexibility to address spontaneous data requests.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) or over 8 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Proficiency in SQL.
β’ Extensive experience with Python for data manipulation and automation purposes.
β’ Strong capability to interpret vague business requests and transform them into specific data products.
β’ A strong inclination towards action, prioritizing iterations and quick results over perfect but delayed solutions.
β’ Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences; adept at influencing senior stakeholders and articulating complex technical concepts with clarity.
β’ A proactive approach to learning and integrating AI capabilities to enhance workflow efficiency.
