This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meeting sales objectives through the implementation of consultative selling techniques
• Enhance and grow incremental business within both existing and new accounts
• Collaborate closely with the entire Commercial Team to ensure a unified customer approach and advocate for all solutions that Bio-Techne offers
• Conduct field sales within the assigned territory, dedicating 75% of the time to customer visits
• Knowledgeable about standard scientific methods, techniques, reagents, and equipment relevant to Bio-Techne's product portfolio
• Provide precise sales forecasts for instruments and reagents within the designated Instrument Product Lines
• Utilize SalesForce to oversee all active leads, customers, and opportunities
• Strategically plan and implement account management to achieve objectives and align with the company vision
• Ensure customers grasp the value proposition, product features and benefits, competitive edges, and applicable uses of all pertinent products
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Life Science tools sector
• At least 2 years of sales experience in a related market
• Experience with Western-Blot and (automated) Immunoassays is highly desirable
• Proven interpersonal, presentation, and time management skills, as well as territory management abilities
• Familiarity with reagents, laboratory techniques, and equipment utilized in the research, development, and production of pharmaceuticals and biologics
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, especially in negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving in both German (native) and English (C1-C2)
• Capability to engage with customers on a technical level
• Skilled in active listening, comprehension, and questioning; able to translate insights into a compelling value proposition for the customer
• Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com is an advantage
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy; a self-motivated individual
