This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in international FICO Scores initiatives by conducting client data analysis, model development, validation, and delivery tasks.
• Create, develop, and assess advanced, data-driven exploratory analyses, predictive models, and decision-making models to address business challenges within the financial services sector.
• Examine extensive consumer credit and credit bureau datasets to evaluate modeling appropriateness, discern data patterns, create variables, and support scoring solutions.
• Utilize statistical modeling, machine learning, pattern recognition, and performance inference techniques to discover effective modeling strategies and enhance model performance.
• Predict, investigate, and resolve data, modeling, and analytical issues by identifying underlying causes and suggesting actionable solutions.
• Prepare, review, and present formal analyses, effectively conveying modeling outcomes, key insights, and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Oversee assigned analytical workstreams across multiple projects, adapting to shifting priorities while consistently delivering high-quality results within client and internal deadlines.
• Engage in effective communication with project teams and client stakeholders, including sharing updates, raising concerns or risks promptly, and participating in meetings across various international time zones.
• Occasional travel may be necessary for client meetings or project requirements, which may include both domestic and international engagements.
• Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Cognitive Science, or a related quantitative, technical, or natural science field.
• Relevant experience in financial services, fintech, insurance, consumer lending, or credit bureau settings; familiarity with consumer credit risk, fraud risk, credit bureau data, or lending decision-making is preferred.
• Proficient programming and data analysis skills using languages or tools such as Python, R, C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar, with the capability to prepare, manipulate, analyze, and model large datasets.
• Skill in analyzing complex datasets, identifying data processing or analytical issues, determining root causes, and recommending practical solutions that ensure reliable modeling outcomes.
• Self-motivated with a curious and analytical approach, capable of taking initiative, asking insightful questions, learning rapidly, and delivering high-quality outputs.
• An open and effective communicator, comfortable sharing updates, raising questions or risks early, and engaging effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently in cross-functional and client-facing environments.
• Willingness to participate in global projects, including occasional meetings outside standard business hours to accommodate international client time zones.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar is a plus.
