Analyst, Strategic Finance and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain models for revenue and churn forecasting.

• Optimize forecasting techniques to improve precision and predictability.

• Perform variance analysis between projected and actual figures, providing actionable insights.

• Integrate data from platforms such as Salesforce, Redshift, Tableau, and others.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to collect, verify, and synchronize data.

• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track GTM KPIs, sales performance, revenue, and cost trends.

• Present findings, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Assist in budgeting, goal-setting, and revenue growth strategies through data-informed guidance.

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and integrity throughout reporting and analytics.

• Enhance reporting processes, automate workflows, and boost analytical efficiency.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in forecasting methods, reporting best practices, and analytical tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Go-to-Market Analytics, Sales Forecasting, or Sales Performance & Reporting, preferably in a SaaS context.

• Practical experience with sales forecasting, financial modeling, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and revenue reporting.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and data warehousing tools like Redshift is preferred.

• Strong SQL capabilities for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to articulate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
