This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +12 more states.
• Comprehend the design of plan formularies and the potential for client-specific rebates.
• Examine claims data to verify the accuracy of group purchasing organization (GPO) rebate processing, direct contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, and provide recommendations for rebate optimization to clients.
• Offer sales support and assistance with requests for proposals (RFPs) for prospective clients, client renewals, and market assessments.
• Collaborate with the Navitus Finance and Underwriting teams to aid in rebate evaluation and manage pricing risks.
• Assist with contract review, data entry, evaluation, and reconciliation of financial guarantees related to Navitus client rebates.
• Grasp the business needs of the department and customers to ensure effective information delivery for decision-making.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Navitus Client Services, participating in client calls as required regarding specific rebate reporting, guarantee inquiries, and data analysis.
• Work with the Analytics team to maintain the Navitus 3D Rebate reporting environments.
• Help manage new rebate program initiatives and enhance rebate forecasting efforts.
• Represent Navitus and serve as a subject matter expert during various audits, including internal, external, manufacturer, client, and regulatory program audits.
• Lead and coordinate government-related or regulated reporting for internal use and client requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with IRC Contractors and members of the Rebate Operations team.
• Maintain a foundational understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate contracts, submissions, and deliverables to trade or third-party entities.
• Review GPO strategies and pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts to accurately configure and sustain parameters in the rebate processing system, ensuring proper allocation of rebate payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pharmacy technician license is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in managed care, pharmacy benefits management, or the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician, in trade, industry relations, and/or analytics is preferred.
