Analyst I – Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist senior analysts in sourcing and contracting operations for Cleveland Clinic through comprehensive analysis of products and services.

• Discover sourcing opportunities that encompass cost reduction, value enhancement, and risk mitigation.

• Engage in contract negotiations and aid sourcing strategies under the guidance of senior sourcing team members.

• Oversee data management and upkeep in designated categories.

• Solicit quotes from current vendors and assess them based on relevant criteria such as quality, pricing, product availability, distribution methods, and risk factors.

• Conduct data analysis for assigned, less complex spending categories.

• Work alongside senior analysts on contract negotiations and various projects.

• Convene with the team to pinpoint contract negotiations and identify additional savings opportunities.

• Initiate requests for quotes and evaluate incoming bids for optimal pricing.

• Assess new products or services that are available.

• Create reports detailing category performance.

• Foster professional and ethical relationships with vendor representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, transportation and logistics, Business, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• A High School diploma/GED along with four years of relevant experience in a hospital environment can substitute for formal education.

• An Associate’s degree combined with two years of pertinent experience in a healthcare context can also serve as a substitute for work experience.

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal supervision are essential.

• Proficiency in analytical skills and familiarity with PC software for performing spreadsheet analysis and data extraction are required.
