This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a part of the development team, taking responsibility for assigned work items during each Sprint.
• Engage in every stage of the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Create solutions with an emphasis on quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Oversee your own deliveries, effectively communicating any risks, obstacles, or potential delays to the team.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams utilizing agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology disciplines — or a bachelor's degree in any area with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
• Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher).
• CSD – Certified Scrum Developer.
• PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.
• Proven experience in developing financial systems.
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), Spring, and Quarkus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Git, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and XP).
• Understanding of automated testing (JUnit).
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of messaging systems and system integration.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere, or Liberty.
• Background in modernizing and refactoring legacy applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Maven.
