This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Conduct technical analysis, development, and maintenance (both corrective and evolutionary) of COBOL procedures.

• Manage and advance enterprise applications utilizing mainframe technologies.

• Work closely with technical teams and project stakeholders to enhance applications.

• Investigate application anomalies and introduce new functionalities.

• Guarantee quality, operational continuity, and stability of solutions.

• Engage in a streamlined selection process, which includes an HR interview, technical deep dive, and offer stage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in COBOL development.

• Proficiency in technical analysis, development, and application maintenance.

• Understanding of mainframe environments.

• Familiarity with batch procedures and online applications.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Capability to analyze and rectify application anomalies.

• Experience in managing both corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

• Proficient in English (B2 level).

• Nice to have: Familiarity with CICS.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with DB2.

• Nice to have: Experience in banking, insurance, or other enterprise environments.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with application migration and modernization processes.
