Altium Designer Trainer, Content Creator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide certified instructor-led training across the Altium training portfolio, both online and onsite.

• Achieve and maintain certification for all instructor-led training courses prior to independent delivery.

• Conduct training sessions utilizing approved course materials and established learning objectives.

• Showcase Altium Designer workflows and features through practical PCB design expertise.

• Tailor delivery methods to accommodate varying customer experience levels while ensuring consistency.

• Represent Altium in a professional manner during customer interactions.

• Maintain advanced hands-on proficiency with Altium Designer.

• Utilize PCB and system design experience to provide context for training content.

• Stay updated on product enhancements relevant to the training provided.

• Contribute to the creation, review, and upkeep of instructor-led and on-demand training materials.

• Develop and assess storyboards and scripts, including voiceover materials.

• Record training videos and audio segments as needed.

• Evaluate training materials, recorded videos, and supplementary assets for technical accuracy.

• Revise content to align with new releases, platform modifications, and evolving best practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams responsible for training delivery and content development.

• Communicate the status of content readiness, preparation, and assigned responsibilities.

• Engage in reviews, pilot programs, and ongoing training-quality enhancement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to potential training delivery at military installations.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Altium Designer in professional settings.

• More than 5 years of experience in PCB and system-level design.

• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities.

• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to engineering audiences.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to travel as needed for onsite customer training, including international travel.

• Previous experience in technical training delivery is preferred.

• Experience in instructional content development or review is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Camtasia is preferred.

• Experience using AI-based tools for voiceover or media production is preferred.

• Exposure to structured instructional or technical documentation processes is preferred.
