This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop, analyze, implement, and enhance innovative biomedical machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of algorithm development from start to finish.
• Collaborate across teams to establish specifications for sensors and algorithms.
• Work alongside engineers to swiftly convert system concepts into operational prototypes.
• Perform advanced exploratory data analysis and create data visualizations.
• Aid in the design of both small- and large-scale clinical trials.
• Ensure clinical validation of algorithms to confirm they meet intended use and performance standards.
• Assist software and firmware engineering teams with the cloud and embedded implementation of algorithms.
• Contribute to the corporate patent portfolio and write technical publications.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of combined experience in industry or academia applying advanced deep learning and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong practical expertise with a diverse range of deep learning and machine learning architectures.
• Demonstrated application of signal processing principles.
• Proven experience in designing studies to test scientific hypotheses.
• Familiarity with physiological signals and a solid understanding of human physiology is highly preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and modern production deployment processes.
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices.
