Air Freight Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee air freight operations for both imports and exports.

• Ensure that daily operations are conducted in an effective and efficient manner.

• Manage airline bookings while reviewing itineraries and logistics solutions suggested to clients.

• Guarantee timely follow-ups in line with service levels and client expectations.

• Facilitate customs clearance procedures.

• Manage DGR shipments in adherence to Dangerous Goods Regulations.

• Coordinate the receipt, evaluation, and processing of shipping documentation.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.

• Effectively communicate and negotiate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Air Freight Operations.

• Proficiency in both French and English is required.

• Knowledge of Spanish is also beneficial.

• Spanish proficiency is a significant asset, as daily communication with the Latin American division may be necessary.

• Practical experience with DGR shipments.

• Strong understanding of customs procedures.

• Experience with time-sensitive shipments is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with TMS/Carwise is regarded as an advantage.
