Air Conditioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and conduct tests on air conditioning systems.

• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on various HVAC equipment.

• Efficiently diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs.

• Service split systems, VRV/VRF systems, multi-split units, ducted systems, and heat pumps.

• Accurately complete all required job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation.

• Ensure that all work adheres to current health and safety regulations and industry standards.

• Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs as needed.

• Professionally liaise with customers, contractors, and colleagues.

• Maintain all company tools, equipment, and vehicles in optimal working condition.

• Identify opportunities for system enhancements or additional tasks and report these to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.

• Relevant HVAC certifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent).

• Valid F-Gas Category 1 Certification.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Strong skills in fault-finding and diagnostics.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Solid understanding of current health and safety regulations.

• Experience with refrigeration systems is desirable.

• IPAF and PASMA certifications are desirable.

• CSCS card is desirable.

• Experience with commercial building management systems (BMS) is desirable.

• Electrical knowledge or qualifications are desirable.
