This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Wire, install, configure, test, and verify the functionality of avionics equipment and accessories for Beechcraft King Air Series, Pilatus PC-12, and Kodiak 100 aircraft.
• Program and set up special mission radios and communication systems, which includes software loading, frequency programming, and mission-specific configurations.
• Configure and update Garmin avionics equipment, encompassing database loading, system setup, and integration verification across installed avionics suites.
• Troubleshoot aircraft communication systems, such as VHF radios, intercoms, datalinks, and related antennas and wiring; identify and rectify faults using test equipment and technical reference materials.
• Exhibit proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, avionics schematics, and component technical data to assist with installations and troubleshooting.
• Modify existing wire harnesses and create new wire harnesses to support avionics installations and aircraft modifications.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive maintenance and avionics records using the Bridger Aerospace records system, ensuring all work is documented in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Assist in general aircraft maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled inspections, phase checks, engine runs, and operational checks across various airframe types.
• Support the removal and installation of engines, props, and major components as needed; assist with STC installations, aircraft modifications, and compliance with service bulletins and ADs.
• Collaborate with pilots, maintenance planners, and inspectors to guarantee aircraft readiness; keep a clean and organized workspace with tools and equipment well-maintained.
• Utilize sound judgment and technical skills to make informed decisions regarding job sequencing, troubleshooting methods, and discrepancy resolution.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) preferred; Airframe and Powerplant License is a plus.
• Over 5 years of experience in Avionics / Aircraft Electronics Maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screening.
• Willingness to travel for extended durations.
• Capacity to be insured on company vehicles.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. FARs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and thrive under high pressure.
• Capability to lift 50lbs.
• Tools are REQUIRED.
