AI/ML Engineer – ACG, AEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create machine learning models and accompanying services for tasks such as classification, clustering, similarity search, and prediction.

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines encompassing document ingestion, embedding creation, vector indexing, and retrieval optimization.

• Construct APIs and microservices to make model functionalities accessible to enterprise systems.

• Incorporate machine learning components into current DevSecOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, CI/CD workflows).

• Implement features for duplicate detection, ticket routing, SLA prediction, and root-cause analysis assistance.

• Enhance model performance with a focus on latency, throughput, and accuracy.

• Perform model evaluations, conduct error analysis, and engage in iterative tuning processes.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to align data pipelines with the input requirements of models.

• Guarantee that outputs are explainable, auditable, and compliant with governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software development, or data science.

• A Master’s degree is required in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• An Active Public Trust clearance or higher is necessary.

• Proficient experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.

• Familiarity with embeddings, vector similarity search, and retrieval systems.

• Proven experience in building and deploying APIs or microservices for machine learning inference.

• Practical experience with AWS and/or Azure platforms.

• Background in integrating into CI/CD pipelines and production environments.
