This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Designing, training, fine-tuning, and deploying ML models on our data to derive insights for critical queries.
• Incorporating and sustaining these models within our software offerings.
• Evaluating model inference results to monitor performance decline over time.
• Creating feedback systems with end users to perpetually enhance model efficacy.
• Innovating and integrating new analytical algorithms to process extensive datasets.
• Advising our teams on optimal, ethical, and values-driven applications of AI/ML.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis within a commercial setting.
• Proficient in fine-tuning and training machine learning models, along with integrating machine learning/AI into software products.
• Familiarity with NLP and classification methodologies.
• Practical experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge and experience in model evaluation techniques, calibration, and performance metrics.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• In-depth understanding of large-scale data management, processing, and analysis.
• Comfortable working with diverse data management and storage systems, including relational (e.g., MySQL, Athena) and file-based (e.g., parquet) systems.
• Solid data architecture and modeling expertise.
• Good grasp of contemporary engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD development, and source code management.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and GCP.
• Quick learner across both technical and business domains.
• Ability to comprehend complex data sets.
• Resilient and open-minded in uncertain situations, capable of tackling challenges from various angles.
• Skilled in conveying complex technical concepts to non-specialist audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a talent for collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a high-trust culture where ideas can be shared openly, and the team makes outcome-oriented decisions collectively for the mission's benefit.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland and will be subject to relevant security clearance processes as required by clients.
