AI Workflow Optimization Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees the design and enhancement of AI-driven business workflows in critical areas such as underwriting, claims, and service operations.

• Facilitates process transformation by pinpointing AI opportunities, establishing requirements, and guaranteeing measurable advancements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance.

• Convert business challenges into comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements for AI-driven solutions.

• Specify workflow elements including inputs, outputs, decision-making logic, exception management, escalation pathways, and control mechanisms.

• Create models for human + AI interaction, encompassing decision support versus automation, confidence levels, review procedures, and override protocols.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure requirements are thorough, testable, and aligned with implementation capabilities.

• Define and document the data requirements for AI-driven workflows, addressing sourcing, structure, lineage, and application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in process enhancement, operations, product management, or transformation roles.

• Background in AI, analytics, or automation projects.

• Strong grasp of business processes (experience in insurance is a plus).

• Familiarity with data structures, data quality, and workflow interdependencies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.
