This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Train and enhance Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual auditory experiences.

• Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects utilizing proprietary software.

• Translate and localize user interface copy, prompts, responses, and other written materials from English into Sorani Kurdish.

• Curate high-quality audio data that reflects linguistic and prosodic features such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.

• Collaborate with technical personnel to enhance speech modulation, accent variation, noisy recordings, and multilingual audio processing.

• Enhance annotation tools and streamline audio workflows.

• Offer feedback on audio samples and support natural spoken output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Sorani Kurdish with familiarity in various accents, dialects, or regional variations.

• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, demonstrating clear and natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording.

• Strong auditory perception for speech nuances, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Capability to manage multilingual audio content and assess speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and spoken context.

• Proficiency in accurately transcribing audio across different accents and varying audio quality.

• Ability to translate and localize text accurately between English and Sorani Kurdish.

• Comfort in providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages.

• Strong comprehension and independent judgment when assessing ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

• Personal device must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later, if utilizing a personal device.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the applicable location.
