AI Tutor – Khmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Train and enhance Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences across various languages, accents, and cultural contexts.

• Curate and annotate multilingual audio data, which includes audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and auditory elements.

• Translate and localize user interface copy, prompts, responses, and other written material from English to Khmer.

• Provide curated audio data with precise linguistic and prosodic details, encompassing intonation, rhythm, and accent.

• Collaborate with technical teams on speech modulation, accent variation, managing noisy recordings, and processing multilingual audio.

• Enhance annotation tools and improve audio workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Khmer, with familiarity with diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, with a clear and natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording.

• Strong auditory perception for recognizing speech nuances, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Capability to manage multilingual audio content and assess speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual interpretation.

• Ability to accurately transcribe audio across different accents and varying audio qualities.

• Proficient in translating and localizing text accurately between English and Khmer.

• Competence in providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages.

• Strong understanding and independent judgment regarding ambiguous, noisy, or accented audio.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to advancing sophisticated multilingual audio capabilities.

• Personal devices used must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.
