AI Tutor – Catalan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Train and enhance Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences across various languages, accents, and cultural contexts.

• Curate and annotate high-quality multilingual audio datasets.

• Utilize proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs.

• Translate and localize user interface copy, prompts, responses, and other written materials from English to Catalan.

• Ensure high-quality spoken output and accurate representation of linguistic and prosodic features.

• Collaborate with technical teams on speech modulation, accent variations, noisy recordings, and the processing of multilingual audio.

• Enhance annotation tools and audio workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Catalan, with familiarity with various accents, dialects, or regional differences.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Clear and natural vocal delivery with pronunciation suitable for audio recording.

• Strong auditory discrimination for speech subtleties, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Capability to manage multilingual audio content and assess speech accuracy and cultural vocal expressions.

• Ability to accurately transcribe audio across different accents and varying audio qualities.

• Skill in translating and localizing text accurately between English and Catalan.

• Comfort in providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages.

• Capacity to make independent judgments on ambiguous or varied audio material, including noisy or accented speech.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational abilities.

• Commitment to advancing sophisticated multilingual AI audio capabilities.

• A personal computer must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later if working from a personal device.

• Must be legally authorized to work; visa sponsorship is not available.

• U.S.-based applicants must not reside in Wyoming or Illinois.
