AI Technical Architect – SAP, Core Business Processes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI capabilities within Arxada’s SAP environment.

• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, integrating AI into essential business operations—infusing intelligence into finance, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing processes.

• Take ownership of the architecture and delivery of AI solutions embedded within processes, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and in line with a clean-core S/4HANA strategy.

• Collaborate closely with business and technology partners, converting complex requirements into production-ready solutions while guiding a small team in a player-coach capacity.

• Influence the future of AI within a global organization, merging innovation with tangible operational effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP architecture/engineering with a robust hands-on delivery history.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP technologies including BTP, AI Core, Datasphere, and Business AI / Joule.

• Strong comprehension of core business processes across finance, supply chain, procurement, and sales.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP integration and extensibility (Integration Suite/CPI, side-by-side architecture).

• Proficient coding and MLOps skills, with a background in designing AI solutions within regulated settings.

• Experience in leading engineering or cross-functional teams as a hands-on “player-coach.”

• Strong ownership mentality with the capacity to drive initiatives from start to finish.

• Familiarity with S/4HANA transformation and migration projects.

• Knowledge of GxP or other regulated environments and SAP MDM/PLM.

• Experience in integrating MES and ERP systems within manufacturing contexts.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
