AI Technical Architect – Microsoft, Enterprise Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement AI solutions in a hands-on manner utilizing Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Fabric, transitioning use cases from prototype to production.

• Take ownership of the complete architecture of the Microsoft AI ecosystem, which includes M365 Copilot, Agent 365, and Power Platform.

• Develop and oversee the enterprise data and analytics platform (Microsoft Fabric) to facilitate AI, RAG, and BI use cases.

• Construct and integrate edge-to-cloud data pipelines for OT and MES signals (e.g., Ignition, AVEVA PI) using Azure IoT and Fabric.

• Propel AI innovation through customer and commercial processes via Microsoft Dynamics, in alignment with broader enterprise architecture.

• Integrate security, identity (Entra ID), privacy, and responsible AI controls into all solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists, reviewing designs and ensuring excellence in delivery.

• Manage MLOps, technical debt, and the lifecycle to guarantee scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective AI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in architecture/engineering with direct delivery of AI, ML, or data solutions.

• Extensive expertise in the Microsoft cloud and AI stack, including Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and M365/Copilot.

• Strong coding and MLOps skills, with experience in RAG, vector databases, pipelines, and inference services.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern data architecture, including lakehouse, real-time and batch processing, and data governance.

• Demonstrated experience in designing end-to-end AI solutions within complex enterprise settings.

• Experience in leading engineers and data scientists in a hands-on player-coach role.

• A strong ownership mentality with the capability to initiate and deliver outcomes end-to-end.

• Familiarity with OT/industrial data and edge-to-cloud analytics architectures.

• Experience in GxP or regulated environments (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and AI-driven customer data platforms.

• Knowledge of Copilot Studio / Agent 365 governance and scaling enterprise AI agents.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
