AI Systems, Zoho & Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy AI-driven workflows utilizing LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling, and MCP where applicable.

• Integrate websites, CRM systems, WhatsApp/Kapso, Zoho applications, data repositories, documents, and external APIs.

• Develop or enhance Python/TypeScript services, scripts, webhooks, and automations incorporating logging, retries, idempotency, permissions, and secure human-approval processes.

• Optimize Zoho CRM and associated Zoho One workflows using Deluge, Creator, Flow, Recruit, Books, Analytics, WorkDrive, or other pertinent applications.

• Assess AI outputs and retrieval quality beyond merely successful demonstrations.

• Identify valuable automation opportunities across sales, lead management, property data, reporting, marketing, and internal operations.

• Collaborate with existing team members without disrupting ongoing operations.

• Generate concise documentation, implementation notes, and clear asynchronous status updates.

• During the first 90 days, comprehend current systems and ownership, deliver one reliable workflow enhancement, integrate it with the relevant operating system, and pinpoint the next two automation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in developing software, automation, data, or AI systems that real users rely on.

• Practical knowledge of RAG, LLM agents, MCP/tool calling, vector search, AI evaluations, or production model integrations.

• Direct hands-on experience with Zoho CRM and familiarity with at least one of Deluge, Creator, Flow, Recruit, Books, Analytics, WorkDrive, or another Zoho One application.

• Outstanding AI engineers with limited Zoho experience may qualify if they present a credible, secure learning plan.

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Competence with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth, and SQL.

• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

• Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical decision-makers and document systems for the team.

• Capability to discuss failures, limitations, monitoring, costs, and security—not just successful outcomes.

• Willingness to demonstrate and explain work personally developed.

• Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial but not essential (preferred, not mandatory).
