This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Analyze high-resolution clinical images of skin lesions to identify pertinent dermatological conditions.

• Accurately describe clinical images using specific medical attributes such as lesion color, shape, morphology, distribution, and other diagnostically relevant features.

• Evaluate skin health, severity of conditions, and potential progression based on visual assessments.

• Assess the clinical validity of AI-generated dermatological evaluations to ensure they align with established care standards.

• Review classifications, descriptions, or assessments of dermatological images produced by AI.

• Detect inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or significant omissions in outputs generated by models.

• Articulate the medical rationale behind corrections and preferred interpretations.

• Evaluate outputs for clinical accuracy, relevance, and thoroughness.

• Develop guidelines and evaluation standards for high-quality dermatological image assessments.

• Set standards for the description and classification of skin findings.

• Convert specialized dermatological knowledge into structured guidance for research workflows.

• Offer expert insights into dermatology, clinical image interpretation, and medical AI evaluation initiatives.

• Aid in the development of safe, accurate, and clinically validated AI systems.

• Uphold strict boundaries concerning confidential, proprietary, or patient-identifiable information.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a medical degree (M.D.) with an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• At least 5 years of clinical dermatology experience post-residency.

• In-depth expertise in identifying and detailing dermatological conditions from clinical imagery.

• Proficient command of dermatological terminology, morphology, differential diagnosis, and care standards.

• Capability to convey complex clinical reasoning clearly and concisely.

• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in reviewing medical information.

• Previous experience in medical image annotation, clinical education, research, or structured evaluation workflows is a plus.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Required to work without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, patient, or other third party.

• H1-B and STEM OPT sponsorship is not available.
