AI Systems, Zoho & Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows utilizing LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling, and MCP where applicable.

• Integrate websites, CRM, WhatsApp/Kapso, Zoho applications, data repositories, documents, and external APIs.

• Develop or enhance Python/TypeScript services, scripts, webhooks, and automations with features such as logging, retries, idempotency, permissions, and secure human-approval steps.

• Optimize Zoho CRM and associated Zoho One workflows using Deluge, Creator, Flow, Recruit, Books, Analytics, WorkDrive, or other pertinent applications.

• Assess AI outputs and retrieval quality beyond successful demonstrations.

• Identify high-impact automation opportunities in sales, lead management, property data, reporting, marketing, and internal operations.

• Collaborate with current team members without interfering with live operations.

• Create succinct documentation, implementation notes, and clear asynchronous status updates.

• Within the first 90 days, comprehend existing systems and ownership, deliver one dependable high-value workflow enhancement accompanied by tests/evaluations, logs, documentation, and a human-review process, integrate it with the relevant operating system, and pinpoint the next two automation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience in building software, automation, data, or AI systems that real users rely on.

• Practical knowledge of RAG, LLM agents, MCP/tool calling, vector search, AI evaluations, or production model integrations.

• Hands-on familiarity with Zoho CRM and at least one of Deluge, Creator, Flow, Recruit, Books, Analytics, WorkDrive, or another Zoho One application.

• Exceptional AI engineers with limited Zoho experience may still be considered if they present a credible, safe learning plan.

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Comfortable with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth, and SQL.

• Strong written and spoken English skills.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical decision-makers and document systems for the team.

• Capable of explaining failures, limitations, monitoring, costs, and security—not just successful outcomes.

• Willingness to demonstrate and explain personally built work; private projects may be shared via screen sharing.

• Spanish language skills are advantageous but not essential (preferred, not mandatory).

• Preferred, but not mandatory: broader experience with Zoho One, especially Creator, Recruit, Books, Analytics, WorkDrive, Flow, Canvas, or Deluge.

• Preferred, but not mandatory: experience with WhatsApp/Kapso, n8n, Vercel, Cloudflare, FastAPI, Next.js, or similar platforms.

• Preferred, but not mandatory: background in real estate, PropTech, CRM operations, document automation, or data-quality initiatives.
