AI Strategist

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborating with business and technology leaders to pinpoint, prioritize, and implement high-value AI opportunities.

• Facilitate value stream mapping, business process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.

• Uncover productivity opportunities where AI can minimize manual tasks, enhance knowledge work, boost employee effectiveness, or streamline processes.

• Identify higher-value opportunities where AI can enhance business processes, decision-making, workflows, or organizational capabilities.

• Assess and prioritize AI use cases according to business value, feasibility, complexity, risk, data requirements, organizational readiness, and time to realization.

• Convert opportunities into AI strategies, prioritized use case portfolios, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.

• Evaluate AI tools and platforms, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and other leading providers.

• Compare AI platforms based on features, integration needs, security, governance, cost, scalability, and user experience.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams on solution strategies including productivity tools, workflow automation, custom applications, and AI-driven business processes.

• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for adoption, productivity enhancements, financial impact, and business value.

• Counsel senior stakeholders on AI investment priorities, trade-offs, risks, and sequencing.

• Manage client engagements from start to finish.

• Assist in business development through proposal scoping, client pursuits, AI Strategy offerings, and thought leadership.

• Create reusable methodologies and frameworks, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of the Strategy practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A master's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of recent consulting, advisory, or other client-facing strategy experience leading AI, analytics, digital transformation, process improvement, or related initiatives.

• Proven experience in identifying and prioritizing business opportunities through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, or value stream mapping.

• Experience in translating business processes and operational challenges into actionable technology or AI use cases.

• Strong background in developing business cases, including value quantification, ROI analysis, cost-benefit analysis, or productivity impact assessment.

• Practical experience using contemporary AI tools such as Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT, or similar platforms for analysis, prototyping, workflow enhancement, or solution delivery.

• Ability to evaluate AI tools and platforms and recommend suitable solutions based on business needs rather than personal product preferences.

• Comprehensive understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and practical applications within large organizations.

• Experience in crafting strategic recommendations and implementation roadmaps for complex organizations.

• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.

• Experience in conducting value stream mapping, process redesign, operating model, or productivity improvement initiatives.

• Experience in evaluating and selecting AI tools, vendors, or enterprise platforms.

• Familiarity with AI capabilities within platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar enterprise technology environments.

• Experience with workflow automation, AI-assisted decision-making, or AI-enabled business process redesign.

• Experience conducting organizational readiness assessments across people, processes, data, technology, and governance.

• Hands-on experimentation with AI tools, including prompt design, workflow development, tool integration, or rapid prototyping.

• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, automation platforms, or MLOps practices is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications in data management, process improvement, project delivery, AI governance, or related fields are a plus.
