AI Staff Software Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Establish and lead a forward-thinking technical vision across various products and platforms.

• Create and implement features that encompass intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning.

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.

• Facilitate technical discussions and strategic planning while actively participating in design reviews, code reviews, and implementation activities.

• Design and develop production-ready services, scalable data pipelines, distributed microservices, agentic solutions, and networking integrations.

• Mentor and nurture engineers while establishing a clear technical direction.

• Construct resilient, secure, observable, and scalable systems.

• Advocate for enhancements in architecture, engineering processes, system performance, and operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience encompassing the complete software development lifecycle.

• More than 5 years of programming experience.

• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.

• At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems.

• Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.

• Experience in designing systems that handle high-volume, high-velocity data with strict scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.

• Proven experience mentoring engineers, acting as a technical lead, or managing an engineering team.

• Capability to address complex, ambiguous, or undefined technical challenges and convert them into production-ready solutions.

• Preferred: BE/B.Tech/Master’s or PhD in a related field.

• Preferred: Familiarity with generative AI or agentic systems, networking, observability, telemetry, distributed data technologies, and large-scale datasets.
