AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• We are looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to become a part of our team, tasked with designing, building, and deploying AI-driven products and solutions that provide significant business value.

• You will work in close collaboration with the Product, Data, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to discover opportunities where AI can enhance user experiences, automate processes, and unlock new functionalities across our platforms.

• Your responsibilities will include translating business needs into scalable AI solutions, integrating AI functionalities with existing data platforms and services, and ensuring that solutions are dependable, secure, and cost-effective.

• Additionally, you will play a role in the development of data pipelines, retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, and deployment processes that support production-level AI systems.

• You will monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously enhance production AI systems.

• Your contribution to AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices will be vital.

• Staying updated with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices will be essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proficient Python development skills with a background in building production-grade applications and data pipelines.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and contemporary AI platforms.

• Practical experience in developing AI agents, agentic workflows, AI automations, or conversational AI systems.

• Strong SQL skills along with experience handling large-scale datasets.

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and data lake architectures, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent platforms.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes.

• Experience in integrating APIs, external services, and enterprise data sources into AI solutions.

• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector search concepts.

• Experience in deploying applications and services in cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.

• Understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, documentation, and CI/CD processes.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
