This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, evaluate, and enhance AI-driven solutions tailored for special education processes, such as IEPs, evaluations, FBAs, BIPs, and specially designed instruction.
• Understand how educators navigate intricate workflows, pinpoint challenges, and convert requirements into viable AI solutions.
• Collaborate with district and state standards, templates, protocols, and examples.
• Develop and refine generative AI prompts, instructions, tool logic, and outcomes.
• Assess AI-generated outputs for precision, completeness, utility, and alignment with exemplary special education practices.
• Detect errors, omissions, unsuitable recommendations, and other risks, subsequently enhancing solutions.
• Utilize human insight to ascertain where AI can assist educators and where professional expertise should remain predominant.
• Work alongside Panorama team members to translate special education knowledge into scalable tools, resources, and guidance.
• Offer feedback and suggestions to enhance Panorama’s AI-enabled solutions.
• Contribute to specified projects and deliverables related to special education expertise and the design, testing, and refinement of AI solutions.
• Extensive professional experience in K–12 special education as a practitioner, leader, psychologist, diagnostician, consultant, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of federal regulations and processes related to special education.
• Insight into how state and local regulations influence special education practices.
• Dedication to remaining informed as laws, regulations, guidance, and requirements evolve.
• Comprehensive understanding of IEPs, special education evaluations, FBAs, BIPs, and associated documentation.
• Ability to identify high-quality special education documentation and practices, including inaccuracies, incompleteness, inappropriateness, or potential noncompliance.
• Experience in synthesizing assessment results, observations, progress-monitoring data, educator feedback, family input, and prior documentation.
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools.
• Excellent written communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
• Capability to work autonomously, navigate uncertainty, and iteratively pursue high-quality solutions.
• Experience across various districts or states, AI prompt/tool/workflow design, documentation quality or compliance review, district-level implementation or professional development, and translating requirements into educator guidance is particularly beneficial.
• Compensation at a rate of $90/hour.
• Project-based payment structure.
• Contract terms typically commence at six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance, availability, and ongoing demand.
• Flexible project engagement ranging from 5–20 hours per week based on client requirements and internal capacity.
