This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the implementation of Vertech's AI roadmap by identifying, prioritizing, and advancing AI initiatives.
• Convert strategic goals into actionable projects, operational practices, and capability development strategies.
• Lay the groundwork for Vertech's AI function, which includes standards, operating principles, team structures, success metrics, governance models, and capability roadmaps.
• Create scalable AI processes, standards, intake models, prioritization frameworks, governance mechanisms, and measurement systems.
• Assess emerging AI tools, platforms, copilots, agents, and automation capabilities for their business relevance, technical compatibility, security alignment, and organizational preparedness.
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance workflows, productivity, decision support, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Establish repeatable AI solution patterns and best practices.
• Promote AI literacy, adoption, responsible use, and realization of business value through dedicated programs.
• Develop training materials, conduct workshops, offer office hours, and create communications, best practices, and user support resources.
• Assist in AI governance processes, usage standards, risk management practices, and responsible AI initiatives in collaboration with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Track adoption metrics, licensing usage, consumption trends, costs, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with teams in Service, Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, IT, HQ, and external partners.
• Make recommendations regarding AI tool assessments, use-case prioritization, adoption strategies, training approaches, and implementation methods.
• Bring unresolved issues related to governance, prioritization, adoption, security, vendor relations, and organizational development to the attention of the Senior Manager, AI & Data.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI, digital transformation, business technology, business analysis, consulting, product ownership, process improvement, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their practical application in enterprise settings.
• Experience in evaluating technology solutions and translating business requirements into actionable implementation plans.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Capability to lead change and influence adoption among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to function effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, Claude Enterprise, Power Platform, Snowflake Cortex, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience in building AI agents, automations, copilots, or workflow solutions.
• Knowledge of AI governance, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, responsible AI principles, or related frameworks.
• Background in technology adoption programs, organizational change management, or training initiatives.
• Experience in the renewable energy, manufacturing, field service, or asset-intensive sectors.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft AI, Azure, Power Platform, or project management.
