AI Solution Architect – Research Office Managed Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in the architecture and design of AI solutions for various projects.

• Participate in the creation of common architectural patterns and reusable components.

• Assess client requirements and propose scalable AI designs for cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.

• Lead architectural decisions concerning data pipelines, model orchestration, API development, and integration with enterprise systems.

• Utilize knowledge of traditional machine learning and generative AI technologies to address a range of solution needs.

• Act as a technical resource for project teams by evaluating technical designs and mentoring junior engineers.

• Work collaboratively with delivery leads and client stakeholders to enhance solution designs as project needs change.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML development.

• At least 2 years in roles focused on solution design or architecture.

• Experience in designing AI-driven solutions utilizing machine learning, data pipelines, or generative AI APIs.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.

• Practical experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, and API development.

• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and agent orchestration tools.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerized environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
