AI Solution Architect – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in the architecture and design of AI solutions across various projects, ensuring technical viability and alignment with client objectives.

• Participate in the creation of common architectural patterns, reusable components, and design methodologies to facilitate both experimental and production-ready AI projects.

• Assess client requirements, system limitations, and platform environments to propose scalable and secure AI architectures across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid configurations.

• Lead architectural choices pertaining to data pipelines, model orchestration, API development, observability, and integration with enterprise systems.

• Utilize expertise in traditional machine learning and generative AI technologies (such as LLMs, embeddings, RAG, AI agents) to accommodate various solution needs.

• Act as a technical resource for project teams by reviewing technical designs, contributing to code and system architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Work alongside delivery leads and client stakeholders to enhance solution designs as project requirements change.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML development.

• More than 2 years in roles focused on solution design or architecture.

• Experience in designing AI-driven solutions utilizing machine learning, data pipelines, or generative AI APIs.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and experience in production-oriented environments.

• Practical experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, and API development.

• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools for agent orchestration.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerized environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
