AI Software Engineering Domain Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, review, and improve AI-generated technical content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to software engineering best practices.

• Develop, refine, and assess prompts and instructions to deliver high-quality technical outputs.

• Execute rubric-based evaluations of AI model outputs, providing comprehensive feedback on quality, accuracy, and completeness.

• Compose and revise technical documentation, architectural plans, RFCs, design specifications, and engineering proposals for AI training initiatives.

• Conduct independent research and validate technical claims through thorough fact-checking to ensure data-driven precision.

• Analyze and annotate data for detailed evaluation and labeling assignments.

• Collaborate asynchronously with project leaders and other specialists to fulfill deliverable criteria within set guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering positions such as Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Staff Engineer, Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, or Solutions Architect.

• Proven experience in authoring or reviewing technical documents, including documentation, architecture documents, design specifications, RFCs, engineering proposals, postmortems, technical blogs, or code reviews.

• Outstanding critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and logical problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to quality assurance in technical deliverables.

• Excellent written communication skills, with a background in professional or technical writing and editing.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Advanced degrees or credentials from prestigious universities or equivalent academic programs are highly valued.

• Prior experience in AI is not a requirement.
