AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, prototype, and implement AI systems tailored for practical business applications.

• Construct and launch comprehensive AI/ML pipelines for product functionalities.

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Python, JavaScript, or other statically typed languages.

• Integrate AI/ML models into both backend and frontend applications.

• Analyze extensive datasets to support data-driven decision-making.

• Assess various AI frameworks, tools, and technologies.

• Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed models.

• Lead efforts in experimentation and prototyping.

• Engage in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

• Convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Uphold data quality, privacy, and ethical AI standards.

• Stay updated with advancements in AI research, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Contribute to the decision-making process regarding infrastructure and cloud services for AI workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with LLMs, agents, and tools such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy.

• Proficient in Python and familiar with JavaScript or similar programming languages.

• Understanding of both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.

• Experience in deploying AI systems within production environments.

• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
