This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, test, and sustain web applications and services utilizing C#, .NET Core/Framework, Java, and Spring Boot
• Design and create RESTful APIs and microservices for integration across enterprise systems
• Construct and maintain responsive, dynamic front-end applications using Angular, React, or comparable frameworks
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to convert requirements into technical designs and deliverables
• Assist in modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native architectures using Azure or AWS
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
• Resolve production issues and promote continuous improvement of development processes
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and quality assurance standards
• Operate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support
• Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and business stakeholders to provide solutions that meet Federal performance and security standards
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Over 5 years of hands-on software development experience with .NET (C#) and Java (Spring Boot)
• Strong skills in front-end development with Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and principles of object-oriented design
• Proficient in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
• US Citizenship is required
• Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance
• Preferred: Experience in developing applications within a Federal IT consulting environment
• Preferred: Understanding of API gateways, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and system integrations across .NET and Java
• Preferred: Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and automated testing tools
• Preferred: Cloud certifications (Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer, etc.)
• Preferred: Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST compliance standards
