AI SOC Solutions Architect – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design and execute AI-driven automation for Security Operations Centers (SOC), incorporating agentic workflows and AI agents for alert triage, enrichment, investigation, and response.

• Convert customer Tier 1/2 triage, investigation, and incident response runbooks into automated and agent-assisted workflows using Torq.

• Manage the technical delivery for strategic accounts from start to finish, covering architecture, development, validation, and handoff.

• Develop integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, Identity Providers (IdP), ticketing, and threat intelligence systems utilizing REST APIs.

• Design, refine, and assess AI agent behavior, focusing on prompt engineering, establishing guardrails, and implementing human-in-the-loop checkpoints.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor to SOC leaders and analysts; facilitate working sessions, address challenges, and promote adoption.

• Incorporate insights from the field into product development and assist in creating new Professional Services offerings.

• Report directly to the Director of Professional Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in a technical security position, such as SOC analyst, detection/automation engineer, incident response, or a role in technical Professional Services / Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity.

• Practical understanding of SOC operations, including alert triage, investigation, escalation, and the incident response lifecycle.

• Direct experience with at least one SIEM (such as Sentinel, Splunk, or Chronicle) and one EDR/XDR (like CrowdStrike, Defender, or SentinelOne).

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Bash, or Go, along with experience in REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.

• Familiarity with applied AI concepts, including large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, prompt engineering, evaluation of agent behavior, failure modes, and guardrails.

• Capability to communicate intricate technical and AI concepts to analysts and CISOs, while managing account relationships effectively.

• Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple ongoing enterprise engagements amidst changing priorities.
