AI Services and Platforms Software Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable, cloud-native software solutions tailored for next-generation Generative AI applications

• Design and implement reusable APIs, microservices, backend components, and orchestration capabilities for enterprise-level AI solutions

• Support products that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and other innovative GenAI functionalities

• Contribute to the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimization of backend solutions

• Create Python-based microservices

• Design RESTful APIs

• Establish backend capabilities for RAG and AI agent solutions

• Engage in system architecture and design discussions

• Write automated testing scripts

• Deploy services onto cloud infrastructures

• Enhance system performance and observability

• Participate in unit projects and initiatives

• Conduct research and provide reports, including recommendations or alternative proposals when needed

• Undertake related studies, enrichment programs, and assigned job responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work independently in the U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Enrollment in a graduate degree program, either full or part-time, at an accredited college or university

• Actively pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• Strong expertise in Python with a background in backend application development

• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar technologies

• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering and system design principles

• Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, service orchestration, and API lifecycle management

• Must adhere to HIPAA, data security standards, company policies, relevant laws, and training requirements
