AI Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Lead the scientific direction for the design and training of advanced, large-scale deep learning systems.

• Create innovative architectures and training methodologies to tackle unsolved scientific challenges within the industry.

• Work collaboratively with domain experts in areas such as chemistry, physics, and biology to facilitate groundbreaking feature engineering and interdisciplinary approaches.

• Engage actively with top-tier ML conferences and journals, and participate in core ML conferences to remain attuned to community developments and current trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, or a related field (consideration will also be given to candidates with a BS degree who meet other qualifications or possess substantial work experience).

• Proven experience in contributing to innovative methods for cutting-edge deep learning, whether in industry settings or through published research.

• Proficiency in several of the following areas: diffusion models, flow matching, transfusion, discrete diffusion, latent diffusion, VAEs, image generation, video generation, LLMs, multimodal LLMs, pre-training, post-training, reinforcement learning, SFT, DPO/GRPO, conditioning, classifier(-free) guidance, LORA, constrained generation scaling, distributed training, tokenization, geometric deep learning, equivariant models, structure-based drug design (SBDD), structure prediction/cofolding, curriculum learning, multi-task learning, and transfer learning.

• Over 4 years of ML research experience in either industrial or academic environments, with a strong command of PyTorch.

• Capability to comprehend business challenges and develop models that can deliver swift value, while effectively prioritizing research activities.
